Scroll Prev Top Next More

The Edit a Portal Layout page allows you to add, change and delete any number of Portal Components to a Portal. These changes are made within each Row, of which there can be many.

Users with Administered By ownership of a Portal can reach this page from the Edit Layout title menu option while viewing the Portal.

Editing the Portal

Most of the content of a Portal is created and edited through the Components it contains, though their locations are still controlled by the overall structure of the Portal.

At any time while editing the Portal, you can select the Revert button in the top-right of the page to cancel any changes you've made since you last accessed the Portal's edit view.

Upon navigating away from this view, all changes you've made to the Portal are automatically saved.

You may see the message, Some Users may not be able to see the Queries used in this Portal. Click here to check your Query ownerships displayed at the top of the Portal. This indicates that some of the Queries used in the Portal won't be visible to all Users who can see the Portal. Select this message to open the Who can see this Portal? page.
